The General AssemblyThe General Assembly (GA) is formed by Chapter Representatives. It works with voting process and is responsible for electing the international Board, voting guidelines for international budget, voting IAIM policies and establishing links between the Chapters and the International Board. The General Assembly meets every other year and in between works with fax and mailing process. Everyone can be present at the General Assembly, but only one Chapter representative per Chapter can vote. So far IAIM has held the following International General Assemblies so far:
The NEXT General AssemblyWill be held October 8th to 12th 2010 in London, United Kingdom at the spectacular Tower Guoman Hotel, Tower Bridge LondonCommanding spectacular views of the Thames and overlooking one of the most carefully restored areas in London: St Katharines Dock with its colourful yachts, boutiques, bridges and walkways - this strikingly modern, fully air conditioned hotel is in a unique location:on the north bank of the River Thames next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Circle of Trainers Day: Friday October 8th Educational Conference: Saturday - Sunday October 9th to 10th: OPEN to ALL General Assembly: Monday - Tuesday October 11th to 12th from 09:00 to 17:00 each day - with chapter representatives from 35 countries.Open to IAIM members ONLY. This event is FREE but there will be a charge of £7.50 per day for the provision of refreshments and lunch. |
